Guangzhou China Museums
Inc. (OTCQB: PRXIQ) today announced the opening of the Guangzhou China Museum in Guangdong Province, China's second largest city. Visitors are welcomed to the museum for the first time since the failed kidnapping of Zhang Zhiyuan, China's founder, in the early 1990s.
The museum is part of a growing number of publicly funded art museums in China, as the country sets its sights on becoming a global cultural powerhouse. The museum in Beijing is demonstrating its commitment to creating a museum large enough to compete with the art on display in the museum. He hopes that the He Art Museum can be an alternative to other art museums in China, which often care less about the country's art culture. We hope to work in a way that is appropriate for China so that we can cultivate our own model museum for our country, "he said.
The shape of the Guangzhou Art Museum was inspired by the taihu stones, which were the darlings of scholars during the Tang and Song dynasties. In 1983, workers building a hotel in downtown Guangdong City discovered a large number of these stones in the shape of a pyramid - a structure similar to a pyramid. The fact that the new Guang Zhou Museum will exhibit a special element of the city's history has led some to consider the museum to be the first of its kind in China and perhaps worldwide.
The museum is located in Beijing and is the largest art museum dedicated specifically to the Han Chinese in the world. The museum was founded in 1959 and was located in the National Museum of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (NMS) in central Beijing.
The museum is located in the spacious Yuexiu Park and is easily accessible by taxi from downtown hotels. Guangzhou, formerly Guangdong, the capital of the People's Republic of China, has a long and proud history, with people settling in prehistoric times, and the city itself dates back 5,000 years. The Guangzhou Museum also houses the largest collection of ancient art in China, some dating back to the early Ming Dynasty, as well as its oldest museum. This complex was built at the end of the Qing Dynasty and has served several purposes over time.
In fact, the museum is so popular that it is located on the top floor of Guangzhou City Hall, just a few blocks from the city's main square.
The National Gallery of London has launched several projects and pop-ups in recent months at the Guangdong Museum and the Palace Museum in Guangzhou. The great exhibitions and catalogues bring together some of the most important artworks in China's and the world's history. In this exhibition, we present a collection of more than 1,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings and other artworks collected by the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Guang Daoist Museum, Chinese Academy of Arts and Guangxi Museum. This is the CAFA (Chinese Academy of Art) in Hangzhou, which is considered one of the three best in China.
Visitors can also head to the Tibet Museum, which is located in Lhasa for the first time in China's history. You can also visit a major archaeological museum in the Guangdong Museum in Guangzhou and the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Hong Kong.
Along the way, there are mini-exhibitions that present the history of Guangzhou and Guangdong Province. Viewers can browse the National Library of China and attend an open course, or museum staff can take visitors on a tour of the spring flora and fauna through popular apps such as Google Maps, Google Earth and the Google Play Store.
Take a look at the following collection of 10 projects located across the country, from the National Library of China to the Guangdong National Museum of Art.
There are so many that it is difficult to classify them, but some are best funded and well run. The museum, based in Beijing, has its founder in Belgium and is considered a pioneer in exhibitions made in China. The museum's next exhibition, "Shift," curated by Ruijun Shen, brings five New York-based artists to Guangzhou. In 2017, the British Museum opened an exhibition entitled "China: Art, Culture, and Culture in the New World," a collaboration with the Guangdong National Museum of Art.
Chinese lecturers from the British Museum led a guided tour of the museum and we were treated to the opening of the Guangdong National Museum of Art in Guangzhou and a private tour of the museum.
What makes Baiyun so beautiful is that it can be seen from its summit. From its summit, one has many beautiful views of Guangdong and the rest of China, but what makes the mountain so beautiful to visit is the fact that one can see the whole of Hong Kong, the capital of the People's Liberation Army (VLA) and GuangDong, and of course the city itself from its peaks.
